"Infrared Heating SA provided the perfect heating mats to ensure safe warm nights for the day-old ostrich chicks raised in Sougounaw, the ostrich farm in north-east Chad. In winter, night temperatures drop drastically in the Sahara desert. The heating mats are flexible and they could be applied on either round or flat surfaces. They worked perfectly well, the birds grew nicely and they now are ready to be reintroduced into the Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve."
